Meet the Team

Hello, and welcome to Mick Foden Commercials Limited. As family comes first for all of us, we would like to introduce you to our team.

Mick
Director of Operations

Qualified HGV Mechanic and HGV 1 driver with over 20 years’ experience.

Likes: Jazz (‘mmm nice’), a Bud, being the king of the BBQ and caravanning.

Dislikes: An untidy house and BBQ leftovers.

What I do: As I spend most of my time ensuring trucks remain compliant and on the road, it’s important that I strike a balance between the needs of your business and getting my hands dirty. Having qualified as a HGV mechanic in 2002, I spent time honing my trade before starting my own business in 2014.

Since then I have focused on building a network of specialist suppliers and introducing equipment to reduce vehicle downtime. We are now a one-stop shop for all your vehicle maintenance, servicing and safety certificate needs.

Lena
Director of Haulage

Qualified driving instructor and HGV 1 driver with over 20 years’ experience.

Likes: Vlogging, a gin, driving ‘Troker’ and physical fitness.

Dislikes: Cleaning and being delayed on the road.

What I do: I realised that I love driving way back in my teenage years. So much so, that after helping many people realise their dreams as a driving instructor, I got my own HGV 1 licence. Following a few years behind the wheel, I took the plunge and bought ‘Troker’. Together, we have transversed the roads of Great Britain, delivering everything from supermarket supplies to furniture. With Mick (my husband) by my side to ensure ‘Troker’ remans compliant and running smoothly, I would love to share the whole story with you.

Follow me on Instagram or subscribe to my channel to share your story too.

Brendan
Mobile HGV Technician

Qualified HGV Mechanic and HGV 1 driver with over 20 years’ experience.

Likes: Camping - with a fire and cold Corona :), and making my partner and kids laugh.

Dislikes: Packing up after camping…

What I do: Quite simply, it’s the satisfaction I get from being a HGV mechanic. It’s what I love about each and every day.

I started my apprenticeship in 2001, and since then, I’ve worked for a number of HGV manufacturers, gaining a high level of knowledge and experience. It is my hope that through my contribution, we continue to go from strength to strength.

Spidge & Splodge
Office Welcoming Committee

Likes: Bones, walks, fuss and more fuss.

Dislikes: Being left out, after all we are the centre of the party.

What we do: As the office ‘guard’ dogs, we welcome all visitors with a lick and our irresistible puppy dog eyes.
